RSPB Sandy Bedfordshire
The buildings that house the UK headquarters of theRSPB are surrounded by
formal gardens and set in an estate of forest and heath managed as a nature
reserve. Visitors can follow trails around heathland and throughmixed woodland
in the central area of the nature reserve. You may see the rare breed of sheep
Manx loghtans, which we are using to graze the heath. The organically-managed
formal gardens are also open to visitors. Please note that if you are traveling
to Sandy by train that there is not a taxi rank at the station so pre booking a taxi
